QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I am looking for the piece that goes in the microwave that can spin the plate. The model number is DE68-40479E-01.

what is the model number of your microwave?  the model number can be found in the door jam of the microwave.  DE68-40479E-01 looks like it was pulled from the part itself - and is a component number....not a part number.  don't sweat it - with the model number / model code of the microwave, we should be able to look this up for you.

  • DE68-404479E-01 does it work with this microwave?

DE68-404479E-01 is not a microwave model number.  please look in the door jam of your microwave.  there is a model code in such area.  what is your model code.  we are happy to pull the technical bulletins for you!

  • I have an ME21H706MQG microwave in a house I bought. It seems the glass plate and turntable don't see to belong in the unit. I think they were switched. Do you carry these parts? The turntable does not turn.

Yes, we carry many parts for the ME21H706MQG.  Please don't take this message as being too forward - just trying to be thorough for you!

Click HERE for the Glass Plate.
Click HERE for the Roller Ring that goes under the glass plate.

Knowing that you just purchased the house - be sure to clean the grease filter that is in the bottom the the microwave.  Your grease filter installs into your microwave differently than other microwaves.  There is a black tray that the grease filter sits into.  If you want to see what the black tray looks like - click HERE.  For the grease filter - click HERE.  To clean the grease filter - I run very hot water from the facet through the grease filter and let it air dry.

Next turn the fan on - if the air that come out at the top of the microwave has a fowl smell - that would be the charcoal filter.  swapping out the charcoal filter - click HERE for instructions.  And HERE is the charcoal filter!
