Shipping Services

Services used for Free shipping vary based upon the item and where the item is shipping to. The following outlines the shipping services used by parts-distribution.com. This is only a guideline; parts-distribution.com will deviate from the standards below when warranted.

Free Shipping:
For items that are under 16 ounces, we will use either UPS Mail Innovations or First Class Mail by the Post Office. The post office will make the final delivery in either case.

For items over 16 ounces, we normally use UPS Surepost. There are some rare cases that we may use Priority Mail by the Post Office if it is less expensive.

Expediated Shipping
For smaller items, we prefer to use Fedex 2 Day (this is NOT a guaranteed service). If the item will not fit in the Fedex 2 day packaging, we will use either UPS Ground or Priority Mail.

Overnight Shipping
We use Fedex Overnight exclusively. Overnight shipping is NOT offered with PO Boxes. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday using the Overnight service. Fedex does not offer Saturday delivery in all venues. For orders placed on Friday using overnight, we will do our best to have the item delivered on Saturday but please expect Monday delivery. The timing of this service is NOT guaranteed.

Alaska, Hawaii or Territories of the United States
For parcels shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Territories of the United States, we ship exclusively using the United States Post office.

Canada
Standard Shipping - In most cases, we use a logistics company that assists us in getting parcels through customs. After an item does get through customs, the parcel is handed over to the Canada Post for final delivery. The timing of the delivery varies based upon the final destination. Most parcels are delivered in under 9 days. The 9 day benchmark is not a guaranteed service level.

Expediated Shipping – In most cases, we use Fedex to deliver parcels in Canada where expediated shipping is requested.
