Will thiis work with any lg tv and sound bar?
No. This is a Genuine LG Remote Control. These are NOT universal. Some LG remotes use Infrared. Others Use Bluetooth. Remotes sometimes have different button functionality based on the soundar. If you have a newer LG TV, the TV will detect a soundbar and update the TV Sound Source to the Soundbar in which the TV remote control controls both the Soundbar Volume and TV. what is your TV model number? what is your soundbar model number?

How do I turn remote on
LG remotes can be confusing. The remote itself does NOT need to be turned on or off. after you install FRESH batteries, it should automatically sync - and should function as expected.

the battery cover is on the back of the remote. simply flip the remote over. the bottom of the remote on the back slides off.
