How do i attach hose to outer window with this part provided
good question - we can help! first the manufacturer recommends two different window adapters. which window adapter you would select depends on the window slider (the part that goes in the window). Next, both of the window adapter that we show before snap on a hose. super easy to connect. Your AC Unit is black - for this answer, we have referenced white and black parts.
Option 1 - The item that you inquired about fits into a window slider where the hole in the window slider looks like THIS. Notice the hole in the window slider. Largely a shape of a circle. The window adapter just snaps into place. HERE is the window adapter that you inquired about. HERE is a nice picture of what the hose looks like that the window adapter snaps onto - notice the rings on the end.
Option 2 - The window slider has a hole in it that is more oval shaped like THIS. HERE is what the window adapter looks like. And it attaches to a hose that has rings on either end and looks like THIS.
