HI JUST WONDERING ON HOW THE SHIPPING WOULD WORK TO SOUTH AFRICA ON THIS PART WOULD IT GO THROUGH FEDEX ? - LOCAL POSTAL SYSTEM IS NOT RELIABLE
good question. Be sure to read this entire response:
we offer standard shipping and expediated shipping. Standard shipping is through a logistics company - more than likely, they would use South Africa's postal system for the final delivery. To South Africa - the transit time would be long. Expediated - yes, more money but worth it - we would use either a DHL or a Fed Ex. There are some shipping restrictions to some countries - irregardless - I believe that South Africa had some around the time of April 2020 - If you are interested in completing your purchase, I would want to verify that such restrictions have been lifted.
Next, we have to be careful with Yamaha. Yamaha has different remotes for different parts of the world. We only sell the USA versions. For the remotes that have such versions, a USA will not work in Europe. I am unsure which region South Africa is - but we would want to verify your unit model number and verify if it has any country or region variations.
Sorry if this sounds complicated - not my intent - simply want to be thorough.
May I suggest that you reply back with your full address so I can price out the shipping - and verify if there are any restrictions. Also, please send me the model number of your yamaha device.
