How much more efficient is a charcoal filter over the standard aluminum mesh
Thank you for the question. the aluminum mesh filter is silver and installed on the bottom of the microwave - this filter helps to filter air going into the microwave - The charcoal filter is installed above the door and behind the vent - this filter helps to make the air being blown from the microwave smell nice. these filters are not interchangeable. if you need assistance in locating the correct filter, simply reply back with where the filter will be installed and your model number!
