I have a HDR-CX210 (NTSC) will this charge the camers?
There are two parts to the AC - DC Cord. The first cord plugs into the back of the camera and sports a proprietary plug on one end that plugs into the camera - the other end of the cord has a box. The second cord goes from the previously described box to the wall. This offering is for the second part only.
A short answer to your question is no.
First, you do not charge the camera - but you charge the rechargeable battery.
To charge the rechargeable battery, you need the original AC adapter (first cord) which charges the battery.
Next, sony did discontinue the first cord. our impression is that there are off brand alternatives to this cord. since we only sell OEM - we do not carry any of these off brand alternatives.
