I need a replacement glass microwave turntable for a Kenmore Elite countertop unit. Sears tells me my model number is 72179203900. I ordered through Sears Parts Direct but what they sent is not correct. It has a flat bottom whereas the one that broker has three glass feet arranged in the center of the plate in a triangle. These feet mesh with the turning mechanism on the floor of the unit. My original plate looks like the Samsung Microwave Turntable Glass Tray Plate Shipped With MS840BB/XAA, MS840CB or the OEM LG Glass Microwave Tray Plate For LMV2031BD, LMV2031SB, LMV2031ST, LMV2031SW, LMVM2033ST, LSMH207ST. Mine is 17 inches in diameter. Can you help me identify a replacement that will work for my microwave ? Thanks. Edwad Taylor
I think we can help. i think mart of the issue may be the model number. for the model number you quoted - the technical bulletins call for a 16 inch plate. so - let's start with the model number. if you look in the door jam of your microwave - the model number is normally listed there. if you would please verify the model number, we are happy to research this for you!
