Is the un50au8000bxza Bluetooth ready?
Yes! personally love this remote. our organization asked me to take one of these home to test it. i love it - this is what i like about it: 1. the finish on the remote feels silky. I like how it feels. 2. the hot buttons on the bottom for netflix, amazon, etc. super fast - when you press the netflix button - netflix pops up - it is simply faster then our old remote that had the hot buttons. 3. to pair it - you simply hold down the play/pause button and the return button at the same time. I had to do this a couple of times for it to pair. 4. this has a solar cell on it - when I got it home - i left it solar cell side up for about a day. no issues - and we have had no charging issues.
this is what my wife's observations about the remote: 1. why did they put the solar cell on the bottom? 2. you can put a charge in it by using a USB cord - but the USB cord is NOT included. 3. she does NOT like the the silky finish.
there is another version of this remote - the other version uses batteries. we just received a few in but have not listed them yet. they look identical but simply do not have a solar cell.
