there were actually two different remotes for your TV - the first one was a small circular remote with a blue button on it - they called this the pebble remote. the other one - more traditional. the more traditional remote is discontinued. samsung does offer a substitute - but the price on the substitute is silly. we suggest that you hit your marketplace of choice and look for a samsung preowned. search for BN59-00849A. if you find anyone selling BN59-00849A as new - you will more than likely receive a generic. for something like this, we would suggest a preowned. since we only carry new items - and we have run through our stock - we hope that the above information is helpful.
