we just rehooked up our wii as well! if you are using this adapter for the back of theTV - then yes. the connection that goes into the wii is a proprietary plug.

yes, this is the one that we would recommend. this will go into the AV In port in the back of your TV. After you connect it, you will need to use the source button on your remote to toggle to the DVD player. please know that you will receive much better resolution from your DVD player if you use a HDMI cable.
