CR2025 Battery. there is a small screw on the back of the remote that you have to remove to extract the battery.

when you unscrew the screw, getting out the battery carriage is tricky - but we assure you that it does come out!

Why won't my remote work any longer? Can I fix it somehow?
it could be that the battery in the remote control simply needs to be changed. changing the battery in this remote can be tricky - you have to unscrew a small screw in the back - and a battery holder slides out. if this does not fix the issue - there are very few services that repair remote controls. we do NOT repair remotes.
