Is this slide holder compatible with the Brother MFCJ985DW scanner?
MFCJ985DW does not have the correct type of scanner or software. if you did complete the purchase - you would only get an image of the holder with the slides....like it was a picture. let me explain a little about epson, epson uses backlight technology to scan film. this is different technology than when you scan pictures. when you use an epson photo scanner that can scan slides, you also obtain software to help you really narrow down what you want to scan - you can select technology to remote minor blemishes on your media (at a digital level) - and allows you to increase the resolution of the scan. your brother printer lacks the physical capability to scan film (slides) and the software that you would need. we have scanned using a variety of flatbed scanners - we think epson is the best for a variety of reasons. we have tried stand alone scanners that advertise great resolution and were unimpressed with the quality. we don't sell scanners (only the parts) - if you have questions, fire away. our information comes with no financial bias!

Is this compatible with the Epson Perfection V550 Photo Scanner
no. the v550 scanable area is only 4.5 inches wide. the scanner will not see the large slide holder in its entirety.

I have an Epsom 10000 CL scanner. Does this slide holder work for this scanner? I have one slide holder already but hope to use two at the same time. Not sure my software will do this.
some of the later models can scan two scanning trays at the same time. our impression is that the 10000 does NOT do mutliple trays. We did confirm this through the user manual. yes, the slide holder that you selected will work with the 10000. i am unsure if you have already started scanning - if you have not - their is a transparency unit that you need to have installed on the scanner to scan slides. if you don't have the transparency unit, you will not be able to get the scan that you are looking for from your scanner. if you have any questions, give us a call and ask for Michael. Does this slide holder work with an Epson Perfection V600? Thanks!
no. the v600 scanable area for film is only about 4.5 inches wide. if you tried using this holder, the scanner would simply not see most of the other media.
