yes, that is the original remote that was backlit. the backlit remote control was discontinued. this remote is not the original remote for your device - and is NOT backlit. This is why the remote has a power button and source button on top with NO light bulb.
this is the remote that samsung recommends as a replacement for the original. this replacement remote is a true samsung remote so there is no programming. simply install batteries and you are good to go!
