Sir or Ms., I have a Kenwood Remote Control Unit RC-95 for my Kenwood Stereo system from the late 1980's. Is the new OEM Kenwood Remote Control going to serve as a replacement? Thank you.
thanks for reaching out to us. this particular remote is discontinued. i suspect that you already knew that. this is the issue that you are going to have. your remote will have features and buttons that new remotes may not have. additionally, kenwood is slow to update the programming of their remotes...this works in your favor...but your remote is roughly 40 years old. I am not aware of any remotes that have a tape cassette button on it - phono buttons are hard to come by - so maybe the correct question for me to ask is, which buttons do you routinely use?
