QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Will this work with bluetooth and dues it work with EX9240 projector

this is a wifi dongle.  the ex9240 has the wifi built in!  no dongle is required!

  • will epson elpap07 connect to my pc laptop?

yes.  this part plugs into the back of the projector.  this is not plug and play meaning there are a number of settings that need to be adjusted on your projector as detailed in your user manual.  there are different wifis - if you send us your model number, we can verify that you are considering the correct wifi.  the green light on the back is NOT a power light....this light goes green when the dongle is transmitting data.

  • Does this work with Epson EX9200?

no.  there are two versions of the wifi - phyiscally, the versions look identical.  Epson prescribes the newer version for your projector.  here is a link to the recommended version.  https://www.parts-distribution.com/products/epson-elpap10-wireless-lan-module-for-projectors-eb-w04-v12h731p02

  • Will this work on a Epson LCD Projector H387B?

yes.  this is the original part that epson prescribed for your projector.  A few hints for you on the wifi dongle.  The Epson WIFI dongle is NOT a plug and play.  This part physically plugs into the back of your projector.  Be sure to have your original user manual handy - the user manual will walk you through the setup.  You will read about a USB Quick Connect Key - Please know that this is a separate part, sold separately, an optional device, does not work on apple and plugs into your PC.  The dongle has a green light - this is NOT a power light.  This light comes on when the dongle is successfully transmitting data.  I hope these tips are helpful!

  • Will it work in an Epson ex3260

First, the ex3260 came with a newer wifi lan.  click HERE to view an offering of the lan that came with your projector.  Next, these dongles are NOT plug and play.  in fact, your projector is among a series that gives people a lot of headaches.  when you implement the wifi, you will need the user manual for your device - we have taken the liberty of pulling it for you - click HERE for the user manual - the section you will need to reference starts on page 49.  We hope this is helpful.

  • Will this work for an epson 1040?

wrong one.  this is an older model.  your projector uses the newer wifi.  click HERE to view the product.  if you like long links, here you go:  https://www.parts-distribution.com/products/epson-elpap10-wireless-lan-module-for-projectors-eb-w04-v12h731p02?_pos=1&_sid=32aa26921&_ss=r

a couple of things about wifis:
    1.  they do not come with installation instructions.  your user manual has instructions on how to implement.  let us know if you need a copy of your manual.
    2.  the green light on the back is NOT a power light.  the light turns green when the wifi is communicating data wirelessly.
    3.  this wifi is NOT plug and play - implementing them is not always an easy task.

  • I need wifi adapter for epson vs250 projector. Can you help

yes, we can help!  if you click HERE you will be taken to the correct part on www.part-distribution.com.  if you prefer a long link, here you go!  https://www.parts-distribution.com/products/oem-epson-projector-wifi-for-vs250-vs350-vs355?_pos=1&_sid=e3b67adc6&_ss=r

Please know that epson wifis are NOT plug and play.  Be sure to have your user manual handy as it outlines how to connect to a wireless network.  If you do not have your use manual, simply let us know and we will happily send it to you.

  • Will this work with EX3212?

our impression is that the ex3212 can NOT be connected to a wireless network.  with epson wifi dongles, they are NOT plug and play.  there are many configurations that users typically need to complete.  anyhow, user manual does not make reference to connecting to a network.  tech bulletins do not list it as having the ability to connect to a network.  sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

  • how can i use the wireless dongal for the epson powerlite 83+

the PowerLite 83+ is not equipped to use a wireless dongle.  It simply lacks the wireless functionality.  sorry for the bad news.

  • Do I need this to connect my PowerLite HomeCinema 1040 to my laptop wirelessly? If not, how can I connect my unit to my laptop without wires?

First, grab the user manual that came with your projector.  the user manual has step by step instructions on how to implement a wireless network.  Next, there are two adapters.  1.  Wireless LAN Adapter.  2.  USB Quick Connect.   The Wireless LAN goes in the back of the projector and is required.  the USB Quick Connect is optional and simply assists users in establishing a wifi connection - note, this part plugs into your laptop and ONLY WORKS ON WINDOWS.
