How does the 8ft extension hose fit to the original hose that came with my unit AP1022HW1GD?
normally, people use the 8 foot hose or the 15 foot to replace the short 5 foot hose. so the connectors on the end of each hose snap off the hose - and snap onto the longer hose.
if you meant, how to attach the 8 foot hose to the 5 foot hose to make one gigantic hose. we can help with this too. the rings twist off. they do take some hand strength - but they do twist off. so you would take one off the 5 foot hose. one off the 8 foot hose. and use a coupler to joint them - your model number will NOT appear in the following offering - but THIS is the coupler.
