Does this hook directly into the ac unit or is there an exhaust hose adapter?
there are four components to the exhaust system of a portable ac unit. they all have these four. but the four do vary by brand and by model.
Exhaust Hose - tunnels the hot ac exhaust.
Appliance Adapter - attaches the exhaust hose to the back of the ac unit.
Window Slider - this goes in the window - and the window closes on the slider. this creates a small opening to expel the exhaust hose.
Window Adapter - this is used to affix the exhaust hose to the window slider.
What parts do you have (send pictures if you are unsure)? what is your AC model number (on the back of the unit)?
