we looked up strdh7600 - but sony is saying that there is not such model number.  we under that you are looking for an antenna - if you would verify your model number, we are happy to research this for you.

Does it have a 3 pin connector that plugs in a port on the back of a sony stero reciever?

the three port pin is an AM/FM antenna.  the antenna looks like an AM loop antenna but it has an integrated fm antenna.  let us know what your model number is - there are a couple of different plugs and we want to be sure that you recieve the correct one.

Can an outside antenna be attached to the Sony STR-DH190 beside the one shipped with unit

thank you for the question - our impression is no.  normally, with the external antenna's - they use a coaxial connection.  our impression is that your unit does not have a coaxial connection on it.  i realize that the fm antenna that came with your device is whimpy.  Sony's suggestion is to locate it near a window.
