Trying to connect an older Mitsubishi TV Model# WD-65736 to a Sony Soundbar (HTB600) however the TV does not have an HDMI ARC connection point. Sony application support says to use a optical cable however my tv has a jack type connection point that is labeled Digital Audio Output (orange in color). The cable they say to use has a square type connection jack on each end. It eill not plug into my tv. Wat do I need? Any help wpold be appreciated
in order to get the full benefits of the HDMI ARC - both the TV and soundbar must support ARC. our impression that WD-65736 does not support arc. you may want to try using a standard hdmi cable. otherwise, you may need to consider obtaining a cable to go from rca to optical. please know that such cables do exist - they are normally an aftermarket device - and something that we will not be able to assist you with.
