I have lost the original remote. Currently I have the xfinity remote from Comcast. I have purchased a Vizio sound bar and in order to use the optical digital outlet I need to shut the TV sound off or change to PCM. Will I be able to use the samsung remote to get this done?
yes. if you click the menu button, go to sound effects, and simply update the output source from internal tv speakers to soundbar. be sure to connect the soundbar before going into the menu options. also, check to see if the back of your TV has a optical cable connection - many of the samsung TVs require a optical adapter. let us know if this does not make sense.

I have dropped my Samsung Smart Touch Remote, ad need to replace the remove model code AA59-00758A will this work for my TV? On the inside of the control there is a number A13020701/050 or it may read A30920701/0050! I have contacted Samsung they saiid they have discontinued the remote, do leu have one I can purchase?
