the UN55KU7000FXZA is expecting an bluetooth remote. the remote that you inquired about is an infrared remote. only a couple of buttons on the IR remote will work with your TV.
the author of this post did not care for the bluetooth remote either. he actually tested the remote that you inquired about on his personal TV and found the the IR remote was virtually useless.
can the tv be switched over so that you can use the IR remote? Yes, however, the changeover is not something that we can assist with as it involves menus and settings that are not experts in.
