I have a JennAir microwave JMC8100ADB that also has Maytag on the label. I need a replacement for the glass plate but have been told they are not available. Is there another brand that would work that you know of?
no. the center part of the plate is what makes this platter unique. we do not have any substitutes. i realize that this "is just a plate". if you deviated from the original style of the plate, you would also need to replace the shaft (connects the plate to the motor) - you would then need to find a shaft that will connect to the motor (which vary in size and connection style). not a fun task.
