UH, a really stupid question no doubt. Just brought home a new LG 1.3 cu ft. microwave, model #LMC1575BD Already to go but how the heck does the turn table fit? The dimples on the glass tray DO NOT LINE UP with the white plastic center shaft star, I place the ring in then the tray on top and it SLIDES ALL OVER THE PLACE, WHAT THE HECK AM I NOT DOING CORRECTLYY
sounds like you are doing everything right. the shaft star- this connects to the motor and rotates the plate. the star should fit nicely into the plate. i pulled the techicanl bulletins - there are some issues with the technical bulletins - irregardless, take the plate out - take the ring out. turn the microwave on. does the star shaft turn? if no, push it down as it is not engaging the motor. turn the microwave on again to verify that the star shaft is properly seated. next place the tray on the star - without the ring. does not lock in? assuming so, put the ring in and then the plate. if the plate does not properly lock into place - you may have to adjust the height of the star shaft. hope this helps.
