I just ordered a filter with all these same guarantees (it's going back); had I have scrolled down, I would have seen a 'part notice' that I had to buy $50 more in parts to make it work on my model. I need to see the bottom of the filter to ensure that it is 'notched' in three positions to my current machine; please post that angle
we know what you are talking about. the original LG part has notches - the picture does not show them - but they are there. the part notice that you are referring to - not sure what part notice that you are referring to... but I think it may have to do with LG doing a post product design change. Perhaps we can shed some light on this for you - LG did a Post Production redesign on the lint filter area of your dryer. In a nutshell, they stopped producing the lint filter that came with many dryers and placed it with a larger lint filter. the other parts are to help convert the lint filter area for the new lint filter. Can you just buy the original or old version - no - LG stopped manufacturing it.
