your TV is a hospitality TV - there are certain remotes that are geared towards this type of TV. the remotes for this TV - pretty basic. except for one. the magic remote: AN-MR650H so this is the thing with the magic remote. you have to pair them with the TV. Then you have to register the TV with the remote. we sometimes joke that you need magic to get the magic remote to work. this is what i recommend to people that need a magic remote. go to lg.com and buy it there. you can hold lg responsible for getting it paired and working if you purchase it directly from them. hope this information is helpful.
