no. LG redesigned your lint filter area. when you pulled out your old grill - did it look similiar to the one that you are inquiring about? or did it look like THIS ONE?
LG redesigned the lint filter area of your dryer. when they redesigned it - the new parts were not engineered correctly....so the had to do a redesign of their redesign. I realize that this sounds a little silly.
