OEM LG Refrigerator Compressor Start Relay Thermistor Shipped With LFX25991ST/05, LFX25991ST/06

I have an LG LFX25976ST/00 that does not cool. Did the test button and after second press, got a '22' on the front panel. One fix is compressor start relay. Would this part work on this model fridge?

first, we would love to sell you a part - but prefer to be open and transparent.  the technical bulletins for the LFX25976ST/00 do NOT indicate the part for your refrigerator.  Normally, the assembly that you are looking for comes with the cover, overload and harness.  the bulletin for LFX25976ST/00 only has the cover and harness - we have lots of these assemblies that look similiar but are actually different.  Next, I hear what you are saying about error code 22.  LG refrigerators will throw this code....and some times the actual issue will be the compressor.  be sure to arm yourself with good data - google lg compressor class action.  there have been some updates to the warranty to many refrigerators as a function of the class action lawsuits.  We believe in slam dunks - the technical bulletins not outlining the correct part....does not make this a slam dunk.  If it were me, I would call LG - see if the refrigerator falls under the revised warranties.  I would then call out a LG tech - have him nail down the correct assembly for you and if it does not work - he may be able to do the warranty work if it turns out to be the compressor.  hope this is helpful.
