The original air filter for this unit was discontinued. try doing a search through google on the following part number: 5231A20008A we hope that this information is helpful.

I was wondering if you can replace the face of the air conditioner unit as well as the filter. Model number LWHD1500ER
the short answer: no. LG did makes the entire front face available as an assembly - but this part is disontinued. we nailed down the individual parts of the assembly - unfortunately, two parts for the face of the LWHD1500ER are discontinued. one of which is the filter. sorry for the bad news.
