most of the parts for the ap1222cw1w are discontinued including the slider.  The older slider styles are a different design.  But the cut out is the same.  We added a couple of photos with notes as to the size of the cutout.  I would verify that the cutout will fit your existing adapter - assuming it does, this slider should indeed work.

please allow us to modify the question - the image in the picture is a window slider.  users utilize an adapter to connect the exhaust hose to the window slider.  these adapter all use a 6 inch hose.  there are some old hisense units that use a 5 inch exahaust hose which is discontinued.
