The square fitting which attaches to the back of the unit with the rounded side , this will screw into this hose? Will I need anything else?
I am assuming that you model number is AP1319HR1G. the item that you selected is a cuffed exhaust hose. it is called cuffed because of the rings on both ends of the exhaust hose. HERE is the part that attaches your hose to the back of the unit. do you have the adapter that attaches the hose to the window slider - if not, HERE is the adapter. And finally, HERE is the window slider. if you have none of these parts - consider the window kit - click HERE for the window kit.

6 inches. the adapter that it fits into - accepts the 6 inch diameter hose.
