not sure that i understand your question - but we will give a shot at an answer. when you open up your AC unit, this part is encased between two larger parts. think of a clam - this part is in the middle of the clam. does that make sense?

this part is on backorder - the manufacturer is saying a couple of weeks - personally, i think it could be more like a month.
