I have a Mac and will need to reset after changing the pads. I see the option below is saying Windows only. Is there a Mac option?
The utility that epson provides - it does not work with apple. you will need to find a third party epson reset utility that will work with apple. sorry for the bad news.

My husband and I ordered and received the OEM waste ink assembly for my Epson XP-420. I understood that a reset code would be sent to me for the printer once I installed the replacement part. Can you advise on how I go about receiving this code?

A few tips. when you click the link, scroll 2/3 of the way down the page - input some basic personal information for epson - when you click submit, the program is downloaded to your PC.
The program that is downloaded - it only works on windows based computers. when running the link, the printer should be turned on and connected to the computer using a USB cable. Wifi connections will error out.
