I have installed a new printer pad in my Epson XP-330. How do I tell the printer a new pad was installed?
you have to run a reset program. the reset program reduces the page count within the printer and clears the error message. epson has a FREE reset utility. it only works on windows based computers - and the computer should be attached to the printer using a USB cable. we have had customers try to run this reset utility when connected by wifi - only to experience issues. here is the link: https://epson.com/Support/wa00819

epson does sell the pads individually - but they are more expensive than the assembly. we realize that this seems amiss. in short, yes, they are available. no - we don't sell just the pads as a function of cost and the fact that installing them turns into a puzzle.
