The V700 and V750 original film holder was discontinued. This film holder is for the v800 and v850 - the good news is the film holder is backwards compatible to the V700 and V750. The clear inserts are Epson installed. They do NOT pop out. The clear inserts are a resin and ARE NOT GLASS. The holders are constructed in such a way where there is one piece of ANR resin and a hinged cover presses the film against the ANR Resin. Although the holder is a hard snap shut - and the ANR Resin attracts dust - however, this holder does a great job in holding the film flat! This part does NOT come with installation instructions.
