QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Can't get signal thru HDMI ports. Will this resolve the problem?

no.  the ballast works with the lamp.  the hdmi ports do blow from time to time.  epson's response to this would be that the mother board needs to be replaced - and they do not sell the ports individually.  perhaps a service center can verify that the ports are blown and replace just the connectors versus the entire board which is quite expensive.

  • DO YOU SELL A BALLAST FOR EPSOM EB4955WU PROJECTOR, I CAN SEE YOU LIST THE PART FOR A EB4855WU BUT NOT 4955??? PLEASE LET ME KNOW.THANKS ANTHONY

yes, we can help!  the following offering is for the correct ballast - but please know that your model number will not be included in the offering.  https://www.parts-distribution.com/products/oem-epson-ballast-for-powerlite-1975w-1980wu-1985wu-4650-4750w-4855wu  We are phasing out the epson ballasts from our inventory - so we only have a few of these ballasts left

  • I have an Epson 4855WU that seems to need a power supply. I will not stay in standby mode so it can be powered on with the remote. Initially, the projector could be restored to standby, by disconnection and reconnecting the power cable, but that has now failed to work.

this will be a tough find - this part is quite old - epson discontinued this power supply some time ago.  we have run through our stock.  i did also check our return stock and came up empty handed.  sorry for the bad news.
