I'm looking for a Denon Audyssey Sound Calibration Microphone – Specifically for 1912...
the original microphone is discontinued. the original looks very similiar to a microphone that we sell. i have had a couple of people trying purchasing this other denon microphone and received mixed feedback.

What is model number of this device? I need DM-A409 for my AVR-2808CI receiver.
the DM-A409 is discontinued - it went NLA about 3 years ago. we have a microphone that may work. we have had some other customers that needed the DM-A409 - and the used the following microphone. we have had people say that it worked perfectly. others needed to return it. I noticed that we have a couple of these like new microphones ( taken back on return ). click HERE for the offering. Will this work with AVR-591?
Thanks for the question! This is our honest answer: We are not entirely positive. The original microphone for your unit is discontinued. the original looks identical - and has the same input jack. We have worked with some people on trying to determine if the new microphone ( the one that you inquired about ) is backwards compatible. The results have been mixed. I have had some clients call us back and say that this microphone worked just fine. I have had some others say it did not. I realize that you were looking for a definite answer. So this is what we can do, if you give us a call in the morning ( we are mountain time) - best to call after 9am mountain time - we have two of the new model microphones that we consider as Not New - We consider them as not new because they have been touched - They both look great. Anyhow, we can do 15% off - nice discount - the only thing that we ask in return is that you let us know if it worked as intended!
