Will this work on a AVR-1609?
my impression is No. there are two microphones that look very similiar. the very one that you are asking about! the one that you require is the older model and was discontinued. we have had some people try the new one in its place - some people have said that it worked just fine. other people said that it did not. try googling 324010001003D. this is the correct part number for your microphone. be sure that people do not try subbing out the old version for the new version! i would also look for preowned. this has been discontinued long enough where i would be highly skeptical of anyone having any of these new.
