there is normally a letter or two before the 140e. what are those letters?

Hi Will it fit into PCA W160A?
Our initial thoughts are No - It will not fit. Delonghi did NOT release the technical bulletin for the PAC W160A. However, we do stock the window adapter for this particular unit. We were able to pull the information on many of the AC Units that use the part and found that the they all used a hose assembly that included the hose connector. Delonghi did NOT subdivide the hose connector from the assembly. If you would like to send us pictures of your old broken part - or even your exhaust hose assembly, we are happy to further research it for you!
