Will this work on the unit as well as the part where the window is?
First, this is NOT a universal connector. this fits SOME AC Units. This part attaches the exhaust hose to the back of the AC Unit. the connector to the slider is a different part. suggestion - why don't you send us your model number - and a picture of your slider (there are two different window adapters - the correct one depends on your window slider) - happy to help!

What is part # for window appliance adapter for rac-pd1414cwru? White or black it doesnt matter to me.
the black has been on national backorder for some time. we do have some that are white. please know that these adapters work work with the white cuffed exhaust hose that originallyh shipped with your AC Unit.
