Hi, I think I am in the right place. I have a part similar to the one mentioned below Part #DA63-07916X001 (middle door bin on the right side) model RF28JBEDBSR/AA. The screws that hold the tray and bin in place (located once you remove the bin by completely by unscrewing the a panel underneath) stripped where it is held by a peg. My question, can I replace this by myself. And is the part above the correct part? Thank you!

we sell lots of these - we know what you mean by the screws.  here is some quick information.  the white platform is sold separately from the bin.  there are two different platforms - one is stationary and the other rolls out.  the screws, we bought the screws that samsung sells (they are not included with the platform) - there is nothing special about them...you can purchase the scews from your local hardware store for a lot less.  when you purchase samsung parts like this - installation instructions are NOT included with any of the parts.  finally, these parts seem a little pricey - a significant price increase was pushed through by samsung - these parts were a part of this price increase - we are NOT expecting samsung to reverse the price increase any time soon.

We think that you may be referring to the white platform that the bin sits on, is this correct?  the documentation on these platforms is not very good - and there are two different platforms - the distinguishing factor before the two platforms is that one of the platforms is on rollers and the other is stationary.  which platform do you require?

Hi - I need the tray that the middle bin sits on. The plastic area near the screws broke. The bin itself is fine, I believe unless it is all connected, but where would I find the tray it sits on? Thank you

we have them in stock - but they are tricky because the tech bulletins do a poor job in articulating which platform goes with which bin position.  want to get this right for you.  what is your model number?

i think we can help!  first, the bin!  the bin that i think you are speaking of is a clear purple bin - it sits on a small shelf that has pegs.  the pegs hold the bin in place.  I suspect that the small shelf is the item that is loose - or causing the bin to tilt.

okay, ice maker.  honestly, call a tech.  there are many parts in the ice maker that could be going wrong - a tech will come out and drop a whole new ice maker in - ice makers do not come with installation instructions and we do not recommend it as a DIY project.  we would love to sell you a part - but ice makers are not an easy fix.
