LG did a post production redesign on the lint filter area of your dryer. what does this mean? as they were producing your dryer - they decided to change around the lint filter area. so they stopped producing the original filter - and require people to swap out a few parts so the new lint filter will fit properly.
if you have changed out your filter previously - or if your filter looks exactly like the filter in the following offering - and the filter sit flush - your good to go - just buy the filter in the link.
