Will this work with 5052dt? Also, do you have to aim right at the radio?
we are not familiar with the 5052dt - please reverify the model number. remotes by kenwood and alpine are normally infrared. what this means is when you push a button - the remote emits an infrared signal. if you are right up on the device - then you do need to point it at the IR sensor. if you are staning a little ways aways from the device - the signal broadens - so you can point it in the general direction.
