Will this work with an Epson H979A? I've already bought one of the Chinese "OEM" ha! models and it does not work with this model. This projector does not have a "simple mode" for a universal to work with it. I need the no kidding genuine, actual, Epson remote that shipped with the h979 alpha or one that will work.

EPSON POWERLITE PRO CINEMA 6020UB WILL THIS WORK?
epson has been very slow to update the programming in the remote controls. this is good from the perspective that they are somewhat interchangeable. please know that the buttons that you are accustomed to using - make sure that they are on the remote that you are considering. next, if there is function on the remote that you are considering - but the functionality does not exist on the projector...obviously, the button on the remote will not work. we do recommend sticking with remotes that are similiar in shape in look

I have a g6150 will this remote work
