Will the holder work with the Epson Perfecction V550?
no. the v550 has a much smaller scanable area - also, the pegs are the wrong size and in the wrong position. i realize that scanning 4 slides at a time is not very efficient.

Will this holder work for the Epson Perfection V850?
yes! we prefer the open face ( film holders with no anr ).
