This document mat is installed in the top of the scanner lid and is used when scanning photos and documents! This is an true Epson part and is NOT a knock off! When the item is received, simply remove the adhesive take and affix to the grey board.

epson does not subdivide the top assembly! to get a new mat - you have to purchsae the entire top. with that being said - the other mats come with adhesive strips in on the back of the mat. you can possibly use these to serve your purpose. let us know you thoughts.

epson does NOT make the reflective mat avaialble seperately. epson expects people to purchase the entire top for this part.
