I have a un50nu6900f TV. I am trying to connect outside speakers. The label on the back says digital audio out (optical). the adapter that comes with the speakers doesn't fit.
thanks for the question. I understand what you are trying to do. so the optical cable is a fairly common cable that rarely has variations to it. one end plugs into the back of your outside speakers. easy so far. on the back of your TV. when you are plugging in the optical cable, it has to be plugged in a partcular way. the optical cable has a unique shape - this is the part that some people overlook and am hoping that this is the case for you. after you get the optical cable plugged in, don't forget to click menu on your remote control, navigate to sound and select external speakers!
