yes, although your question is an easy one - LG has made it difficult to answer. LG is on the third lint filter for your dryer.
During manufacturing of your Dryer - LG redesigned the lint filter area. They redesigned it using THIS LINT FILTER. This lint filter has EARS on the side - CLICK HERE to see what I mean by EARNS - this is the lint filter with the white back drop. if your lint filter has ears, HERE is the lint filter!
Many people hated this newly designed lint filter - it poked up about an inch - and closed tended to snag on it - ruining clothing. 2 years after a class action lawsuit - LG came up with the third revision that fixed the lint filter sticking up issue. YAY! however, it does not come with installation instructions. if your lint filter sticks up - HERE is your play!
