Thank you for the question. for the model number dlg3401w, LG has a couple of redesigns after some "missteps". your question is normally an easy one - I suspect that you may be dealing with an issue of the filter sticking up about an inch?
if you are dealing with the lint filter sticking up about an inch - here is what you want! when LG redesigned the lint filter area for the second time, they modified the lint filter cover and used the same part number as the earlier version. If you have the inch issue - The following link is your play!
